1. Who are we?

The Louisiana Tech Regal Blues are made up of 20 full time students who all share the love for dance and this amazing university. We attend and dance at all home football games, mens and womens basketball games, occasional soccer and volleyball games, and all sorts of campus and community events throughout the year. We all hold Louisiana Tech dear to our hearts and share a tremendous amount of pride, commitment, and loyalty to our university.

2. Why are we raising money?

For years, the Regal Blues have been a much smaller college dance team, but as our school continues to grow we want to be apart of the growth. Last year our team went to UDA college nationals to compete for the first time in over 5 years, coming home with a 12th place trophy. As we left nationals last year, we knew we wanted to continue to compete and continue to represent Louisiana Tech at the highest level. Every year, the girls are required to raise money through donations and sponsorships to help pay for food, travel, uniforms, camp and so much more; however, UDA nationals is not fully fundable even with every sponsor. Because the girls on the team are all full time college students, with only few of them having jobs, asking them to pay their own way is something we always try to turn away from. We are reaching out to our alumni, loyal supporters, family, friends, co-workers, and anyone else who wants to help us raise money to cover the cost of flights, registration and meals for the girls while in Orlando, Fl. The Regal Blues work so very hard day in and day out and deserve to be able to showcase their talent on the nationals stage.

3. How can you help?

Any little bit helps! The amount that you give does not have to be significant. We just ask that you help us in any way that YOU can, and then share our story with your family, friends, and co-workers in hopes of them giving as well. We promise to use the funds raised to represent Louisiana Tech the best that we can at UDA Nationals!
